Description:
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Development:
Creating, designing, and prototyping electronic systems, including analog, digital, and power circuits.
Ensure and equip with the required knowledge in electrochemistry and hands-on experience with all battery chemistries including Li-ion battery research & development.
Testing and validation:
Inspecting, testing, and validating the reliability and functionality of electronic devices and systems, and analyzing test results.
Troubleshooting:
Identifying and resolving problems in existing electronic components, systems, and software.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including schematics, reports, test procedures and design reviews.
Prepare operating manuals and works instructions on designed products.
Basic management of IP and critical information according to our document control and ISO processes
Quality and Safety:
Ensuring all products and equipment meet health, safety, and quality regulations.
Collaboration:
Liaising with clients, and teams to ensure projects are completed to specification.
Reporting
Reporting monthly and on an ad hock base regarding all engineering and production aspects.
Present technical reports when assisting in testing of product faults or customer returns and complaints.
Support Functions
Engineering support for all customers and products.
Production and quality support.
Present and manage capex and other financial requirements.
Identify training needs, train subordinates in all areas where required and arrange external training.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Basic requirementsA self-motivated and driven innovative design engineer to contribute in the design, development and testing of our custom design battery packs and peripheral products.
Manage the Research and Development department and all required functions described below.
Manage the drawing department and ensure comprehensive data packs and drawings are completed.
Ensuring that all functions are managed according to ISO9001 2015 requirements.
Ensuring that the full hardware cycle from design to production is managed.
Production planning, scheduling and management.
Experience:
Electronic design, mainly in analogue design.
Customer support
Quality system, IO9001 2015
Production management and scheduling.
R & D with project management.
