Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of control and automation projects in Kathu. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) systems, with proven experience managing complex industrial or mining projects from initiation to handover.
Applicants must either reside in Kathu or be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to scope, budget, and quality standards.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors, ensuring coordination across all project interfaces.
Facilitate technical and progress meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with company and client quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Manage project documentation, change control, and reporting requirements.
Drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction upon project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma (NQF6), BTech, BEng in Electrical, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering.
12 years of experience managing projects within industrial automation, electrical, or instrumentation environments.
