  • Identify and evaluate tender opportunities through proactive market analysis.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules using CCS.
  • Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality, competitive tender bids within tight deadlines.
  • Attend site meetings and briefings to assess project conditions and clarify technical or commercial requirements.
  • Evaluate and adjudicate supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value and compliance.
  • Coordinate and mentor the tendering and estimating team to maintain consistency and excellence in submissions.
  • Track and report on tender progress, validity periods and bid outcomes to senior management.

Requirements and Skills:
  • 10â15 yearsâ experience estimating within the civil construction sector
  • Proficiency in CCS (non-negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of tendering procedures, cost estimating, and quantity surveying
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs with confidence
  • A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (preferred)
