Description:

Duties:

  • Communicate with residents on an ongoing basis via all platforms
  • Produce and promote the internal magazine every three months and secures advertisers
  • Produce the newsletters for the HOA and the Estate on alternate weeks
  • Communicate all emergency announcements to residents
  • Produce and circulate marketing communication for golf club functions and events;
  • Pick up feedback from residents and assesses the overall feeling/response
  • Provide feedback to Management
  • Promote the image and reputation of the HOA and the Estate positively
  • Arrange various community events on the Estate
  • Organise community events sponsored by service providers (average of one per month)
  • Plan the necessary advertising, sponsorships and PR for the events
  • Acts as the link (Liaison) between the HOA, Golf Club and external parties
  • Vet all incoming marketing proposals and make recommendations on appropriate action to CEO
  • Arrange publicity for the HOA and Estate
  • Secure sponsorships for events and facilities
  • Arranges charity events and corporate social involvement
  • Provides induction and accreditation for Estate Agents who are authorised to operate on the estate
  • Attend and facilitate the orientation workshops for Estate Agents
  • Monitor Estate Agent compliance with the terms of their agreement and ensure that no unauthorised agents operate on the estate
  • Receive and address residents’ complaints
  • Act on infringements
  • Market events sponsored by service providers and agents
  • Ensure that the content on the website is relevant and updated
  • Obtain sponsorship for the website hosting
  • Monitor activity on the website and respond to queries and/or complaints
  • Manage content and media on the website
  • Ensure that new home owners are welcomed when they move in to the Estate
  • Coordinate the delivery of the welcome pack with the CEO
  • Resolve any queries from new Homeowners
  • Operates as the budget holder for the marketing and communications function;
  • Provide input to the CEO for inclusion in the Annual Budget approved by the Board
  • Operate within budgeted parameters
  • Ensure that events and functions do not run at a loss

  • Previous experience property and property transfers is a big plus
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Must be fully computer literate Must have the ability to listen and resolve or resolve conflict
  • Articulate
  • Must be able to work flexi-hours and weekends when required
  • Must have contactable references

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous
  • Good understanding of PR and communication techniques
