About the Role: Build, Lead, and Standardize:

Seeking an ambitious, highly strategic, and hands-on Group Marketing Manager to join this IT Holding Company. This is a unique and exciting founding role where you will be tasked with building a centralized, shared services marketing function from the ground up to support multiple portfolio companies within the alliance.

In the initial phase, you will be the sole marketing professional, responsible for the full end-to-end marketing function—from strategy and budget ownership to hands-on execution. The successful candidate will transition into a leadership role, responsible for driving brand alignment, strategic campaigns, and effective communication across the entire group, ultimately overseeing a growing team or network of marketing resources.

This role offers unparalleled ownership, creative freedom, and the opportunity to define the future of marketing for a leading IT group.

The key is to integrate the vision of building a shared services marketing function for the entire holding company with the immediate reality of the role being a solo, executive-level builder who will eventually lead and manage this group function.

Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with significant expertise in B2B marketing; experience within the Information Technology (IT) or professional services industry is beneficial.

Education:

Matric with Mathematics essential

Relevant Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Digital Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, analytics tools, and SEO best practices.

Core Competencies:

Exceptional Communication: Outstanding copywriting, verbal communication, and presentation skills required to engage executive stakeholders and external audiences.

Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of the B2B tech sales cycle and how marketing initiatives directly impact business revenue and growth.

Technical Tools: Proficiency in design/content tools.
