A leading manufacturer in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations and ensure efficient stock management. Responsibilities- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Manage and monitor stock levels to ensure accurate inventory control.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and best practices.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff to achieve performance goals.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Use inventory systems to track, analyse, and report on warehouse performance metrics.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in stock control and warehouse processes.
- Experience working with an inventory management system.
- Previous experience managing a team effectively.
- Proven track record of accuracy and reliability in handling stock.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
