Description:

Our client is a leading player in the Oil & Gas sector and is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Assistant to support their operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement expertise, particularly with rotating equipment, valves, and pumps, and have established supplier networks in this field. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support procurement activities across projects and operations.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with both local and international suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on procurement needs.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years’ procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management experience, ideally in Oil & Gas.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Xero, and logistics systems.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team player with the ability to support senior staff.
  • High integrity and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel and strong knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
