Our client is a leading player in the Oil & Gas sector and is seeking a Procurement Specialist/Assistant to support their operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong procurement expertise, particularly with rotating equipment, valves, and pumps, and have established supplier networks in this field. Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support procurement activities across projects and operations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with both local and international suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams on procurement needs.
- Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- 3–5 years’ procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management experience, ideally in Oil & Gas.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping, and logistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Xero, and logistics systems.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Team player with the ability to support senior staff.
- High integrity and a problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel and strong knowledge of local and international supplier markets.
