Warehouse / Stock Controller - East RandIndustry: Vacuum Pumps & Medical Gas SolutionsOur client is on a recruitment drive for a dynamic, self-motivated and self-driven Warehouse & stock controller to join their team. The position is responsible for the accurate management control, and distribution of stock within the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations to support both national and export supply requirements. This role requires a detail orientated and organized individual with the ability to manage specialized technical stock, maintain compliance with health and safety standards, and ensure timeous deliveries to clients.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:Stock Control & Inventory ManagementReceive, check and record incoming stock (vacuum pumps, medical gas equipment, spare parts, consumables)conduct accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and monthly / quarterly reconciliationsMonitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when minimum thresholds are reachedLabel, categorize, and store stock systematically for easy retrievalMaintain up-to-date stock records in the ERP / WMS systemWarehouse Operations:Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive / technical equipment according to manufacturer specificationsPrepare and pack stock for dispatch - national distribution and exportsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse at all timesManage and record stock movement - receiving, issuing, and dispatchingLogistics & DispatchCoordinate with courier companies, freight forwarders, and internal drivers to schedule deliveriesPrepare delivery notes, packing lists, and necessary shipping / export documentationTrack deliveries to ensure on time arrival and resolve any discrepanciesCompliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to health, safety, and industry regulations related to medical gas and technical equipment handlingMaintain records in line with ISO standards and internal quality management systemsReport damages, discrepancies, or stock shortages immediat... - Certificate / Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management - advantageous
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in warehouse / stock control - preferably in technical, medical or engineering environment
- Forklift License - advantageous
- Computer literate - MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of export / import documentation - advantageous
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (ERP, WMS, or Similar)
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to manage specialized stock mechanical / technical equipment
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
