Critical Criteria (Requirements)
- Matric certificate (Grade 12); trade test or technical qualification advantageous
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in hotel or commercial property maintenance
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general repair work
- Experience with HVAC, kitchen equipment, pool systems, and fire & safety equipment beneficial
- Ability to troubleshoot and carry out preventive and reactive maintenance
- Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious
- Professional, guest-centric approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Must hold a valid South African ID

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance checks and address reported faults promptly
- Conduct preventive maintenance across all hotel facilities and equipment
- Respond to guest room maintenance requests with professionalism and urgency
- Support smooth operation of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and pool systems
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and emergency standards
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and spare parts in good order
- Assist with set-up and technical support for conferences and events
- Report and record all work carried out in the maintenance logbook/system
- Work closely with housekeeping and front office to ensu
