Description:
The Payroll Administrator will manage the end-to-end payroll process for waged employees. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency with SAGE payroll software and a comprehensive understanding of current payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Process Payroll: Accurately and timely process the full-cycle weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for 200-300 employees using SAGE payroll software.
Data Management: Input and verify all payroll-related data, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, benefits deductions, garnishments, and employee banking information.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict compliance with all payroll regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and reports.
Query Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries, resolving issues regarding wages, deductions, and pay slips promptly and professionally.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous payroll records, ensuring all documentation is organized, accurate, and kept confidential.
Reconciliation: Perform regular payroll reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
Month-End/Year-End: Assist with month-end and year-end payroll procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, managing payroll for a high volume of waged employees (200+).
Essential: Deep working knowledge and proven proficiency with SAGE payroll software Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent numerical and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
