A leading industrial operation is looking for a proactive O&M Technical Support to join their division in Elandsfontein, Gauteng.- This role drives maintenance planning, technical support, and compliance - keeping equipment reliable, downtime low, and service standards high. You’ll oversee maintenance, resolve technical issues within SLA, and ensure operations meet industry and compliance standards while supporting both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to ensure reliable operations with minimal disruptions and high equipment uptime
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve technical issues within SLA, proactively implementing technical updates
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventative maintenance to extend asset life and avoid downtime
- Monitor and ensure adherence to maintenance plans and schedules
- Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance (ISO maintenance standards, HSE regulations, audit requirements)
- Deliver excellent customer service , resolving queries within SLA and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
- Collaborate with lab, store, tech support, maintenance, and remote monitoring teams to ensure seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance checklists
- 3 Phase Installation Electrician qualification (minimum)
- Electrical Engineering Diploma (advantageous)
- 3–5 years’ experience in fault finding, system integration, and solar installations
- Solid technical knowledge of industrial systems and maintenance processes
- Computer literacy (MS Office Suite; SAP, ERP Systems, and job-specific software)
- Strong technical and analytical problem-solving ability
- Understanding of production, engineering, and maintenance processes
- Knowledge of compliance, ISO, and HSE standards
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive and action-oriented
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Flexible and resilient under pressure
- Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building ability
- Confident communicator with sound decision-making skills
