My client, a leading manufacturer and distributor, is seeking a dynamic Roaming Retail Store Manager to oversee operations across multiple retail outlets (Elandsfontein, Gauteng). Non-Negotiable Requirements
  • Diploma in Business Administration / Sales / Marketing (NQF 6)
  • Minimum 5 years’ Retail Sales / Marketing (3+ yrs supervisory)
  • Proven experience in store operations, staff management & customer service
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office, ERP/Retail systems)
  • Valid driver’s licence & willingness to travel frequently
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage retail store operations, stock, pricing & promotions across multiple sites
  • Support underperforming stores, cover for absent managers, and launch new locations
  • Drive sales, canvass new customers, and support marketing & promotional activities
  • Monitor compliance with legal, ISO, HSE, and financial controls
  • Supervise and develop staff: Sales, Assistants, Auto-Electrician, General Workers, Driver
  • Maintain customer satisfaction, handle escalations, and host engagement events
  • Track budgets, control costs, and optimise resource
  • Proactive, action-oriented leader with problem-solving ability
  • Commercially minded and customer-focused
  • Strong planning, organising, and supervisory skills
  • Resilient and adaptable to changing environments
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written)
KPIs Include
  • Improved sales & profitability across regions
  • High customer satisfaction scores
  • Compliance with SHEQ, ISO & company policies
  • Effective staff performance & training outcomes
