The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, boundless energy, and a genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. They should enjoy guest interaction, think creatively, and have a deep love for food and wine. This individual must be a natural leader with strong administrative skills, and a commitment to staff motivation and development. Key Qualifications and Experience:
  • Diploma in Hospitality or Lodge Management
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Hospitality / Food & Beverage within a 5-star boutique property or Big 5 lodge environment
  • Professional culinary experience is an advantage
  • Proven experience in menu development
  • Strong stock control experience in both food and beverage
  • Experience in hospitality and service training
  • Solid knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene in kitchen operations
  • Extensive purchasing and procurement experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends
  • A true “Food Fundi” — passionate about food, people, and service
  • Code 8 driver’s license
