Description:
As an External Sales Executive in the your skills such as effective communication, persuasive negotiation, and strategic sales planning will secure this opportunity.
Responsibilities include
Assist customers with paint selection, application techniques, and product recommendations.
Provide professional advice
Demonstrate excellent product knowledge
Process sales transactions, issue invoices, and handle cash/card payments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked showroom and display area.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse for replenishment.
Handle customer complaints and returns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Build relationships with regular customers and contractors to encourage repeat business
Requirements:
- Negotiation Skills: 2 to 3 years
- External Sales Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Hardware Industry Knowledge: 2 to 3 years
Skills and Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably within the paint or building materials industry at least 3 – 4 years
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of paint, their applications, and related products.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate prices and terms with customers to close sales.
- Target Orientation: Driven and motivated to achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's success.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues and concerns.
- Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to customer locations.
Hours: Monday – Friday 7h30 – 17h00 and every 2 nd Saturday
