We’re seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager with extensive Steakhouse grilling experience to oversee operations and ensure excellence in every dish.
💰 Monthly Earnings : Negotiable depending on experience
· Basic R15 000
· Productivity & Attendance Bonus R5000 (Easy to achieve)
· Stock Bonus R5000 (Major effort to achieve, but achievable)
🕰 ️ Shifts : 5 Day/Nights per week 11:45 to 23:45 includes weekends & public holidays
Negotiable as long as can meet the companies objectives
📍 Location : Pirates Steakhouse & Pub, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town
🕒 Availability : Immediate

Requirements:
- Kitchen Management: 5 to 6 years
- Grilling In A Busy Steakhouse: 2 to 3 years
- Strong Leadership, Communication And Training Skills: 2 to 3 years
- Strong In Daily Stock Counts With Attention To Detail: 2 to 3 years
- Keeping A Kitchen Clean, Healthy & Safe: 2 to 3 years
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a kitchen management role
- 5+ years’ experience as a griller in a busy steakhouse
- Strong leadership, communication and training skills
- Strong in daily stock counts with attention to detail
- Enjoy working in clean, healthy & safe kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff and daily operations
- Train kitchen hands on cutting, preparation & grilling of steaks
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain high food quality and consistency
- Control food costs and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Knowledge of meat cuts and grilling techniques (rare to well-done)
- Grill steaks, burgers, and other meats to order when required
- Oversee & maintain grill station cleanliness and readiness
