This role plays a pivotal part in shaping business performance and enabling data-driven decision-making at both operational and executive levels. In support of board objectives, preference will be given to suitably qualified female applicants.The FP&A Manager will be responsible for leading the end-to-end FP&A agenda across multiple sites, ensuring accurate forecasting, insightful performance reporting, and robust financial modelling. This position requires close collaboration with operational teams and senior executives, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead FP&A activities for multiple mining operations, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Build and enhance financial models that guide both short-term actions and long-term strategy. Deliver budgets, forecasts, and management reports that clearly communicate performance drivers. Engage with site-level stakeholders to strengthen financial alignment and accountability. Identify opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and improved reporting processes. Harness tools including HFM, TM1, SAP, and Power BI to provide meaningful insights. Advise senior leadership on financial risks, opportunities, and strategic options.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
CA, CIMA, MBA, or postgraduate qualification in Economics/ Finance. Minimum of 10 years finance experience, including time spent across more than one mining operation. Built financial models from scratch Proven ability to build strong working relationships in complex, site-based environments. Advanced technical capability in HFM, TM1, SAP, and Power BI. Highly developed analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity. A strategic mindset paired with a pragmatic, hands-on approach. Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating dynamic mining environments. Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at operational and executive levels.
