Our client based in Parow, Cape Town, is looking for a dedicated Quality Controller to join their team. The successful candidate must have a keen eye for detail, be quality-focused, and able to thrive under pressure. A Matric certificate and proficiency in MS Office are required. Strong communication skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. Reliable own transport is a must. Previous experience in Quality Control or within the furniture manufacturing industry will be a distinct advantage. REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Previous QC or furniture industry experience will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Quality-oriented mindset
- Own reliable transport
DUTIES:
- Inspect furniture pieces at various stages of production and prior to dispatch
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications
- Ensure materials and workmanship meet company and client quality standards
- Record, report, and follow up on quality issues with the production team
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45 - 17:00
- Friday: 07:45 – 14:45
