Job Purpose

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders.
This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure a professional, welcoming front office environment, while providing administrative support to the property development and real estate teams.


Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients, tenants, visitors, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
Handle general inquiries regarding properties, listings, and development projects.
Maintain visitor logs, issue access tags, and coordinate security protocols for site visits.
Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and courier parcels.
Assist with preparing property brochures, marketing materials, and sales packs when required.
Support the HR and administration team with filing, data entry, and document management.
Coordinate boardroom/meeting room bookings and ensure facilities are set up.
Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors/service providers as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

Matric / Grade 12 (essential).
Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Secretarial, or related field (advantageous).
2+ years’ experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role (preferably in Real Estate, Property Development, or related industry).
Strong computer literacy (MS Office Suite, Outlook, property management systems an advantage)
