Our client, a prominent supplier of automotive spare parts in, Montague Gardens, Cape Town is actively seeking to hire Warehouse Manager to commence employment immediately.
Duties and responsibilities
A need to perform well under pressure and understand the fluctuating needs for various replacement parts to excel in the role. They’re responsible for keeping the business well-stocked and keeping customers happy.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor Workforce Activity Constantly check that all employees are actively working. Ensure no one is idle.
assign tasks when workers have free time
Maintain a clean, productive, and disciplined warehouse floor at all times
Daily Operations Ensure orders are pulled and checked correctly
Oversee that deliveries are dispatched on time (twice daily).
Ensure credits and claims are handled accurately.
Discipline & Structure Enforce correct workwear.
Monitor clock-in times, tea, and lunch breaks.
Maintain overall discipline on the floor.
Fleet Management Conduct daily vehicle checks with drivers.
Compare logbooks, Fleet360 (fuel/expenses), and Tracker reports.
Monitor relevant cameras for compliance and performance.
Collaboration & Planning Work with the Warehouse Manager to identify tasks, improvements, and projects.
Assign and supervise work to the right employees at the right time.
Requirements:
Qualifications.
An Automotive Spare Parts Warehouse Manager needs strong leadership and communication skills, proven inventory and warehouse management experience, proficiency in computer systems and data analysis, and technical automotive knowledge. Key qualifications include a Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent) or a relevant tertiary qualification, several years of experience in the automotive or logistics industry, and a valid driver's license.
