Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of their wireless solutions portfolio across South Africa and into Sub-Saharan Africa. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, driving product adoption in new and existing markets, and shaping the overall market strategy.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Obtain and maintain relevant certifications and approvals for wireless products across targeted African markets.
- Introduce the product range to consultants, specifiers, and key decision-makers , ensuring inclusion in future projects.
- Drive adoption of wireless technology within corporates, end-users, and existing customer networks .
- Identify growth opportunities through competitor research, market segmentation, and customer insights.
- Provide input into the product strategy and go-to-market approach , ensuring alignment with broader sales and marketing objectives.
Secondary Duties
- Promote wireless solutions over traditional technologies, positioning them as the preferred option in the industry.
- Lead and coordinate large-scale tender submissions nationally.
- Compile competitor comparisons and highlight differentiators to strengthen market positioning.
- Collaborate with leadership on stockholding levels and supply requirements.
- Support the development of local training programmes in collaboration with international partners and training teams.
General
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry forums .
- Provide input to marketing through case studies, product insights, and success stories .
- Report regularly to senior management on business development progress and results .
