We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Officer to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support internal stakeholders in identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations
- Manage the procurement process from request for proposal to contract execution
- Track and report key performance indicators related to procurement activities
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field
- Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role in the banking sector
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and market trends
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
