Our client in the Northern Suburbs is looking for a reliable and presentable candidate,, with experience at a junior to mid-level in accounting. The ideal candidate must be well-groomed, professional, and a non-smoker. Key Responsibilities:Full financial processing up to balance sheet.
Intercompany processing and reconciliations.
Capturing and processing weekly and monthly payroll.
Preparing and submitting statutory returns (PAYE reconciliations, VAT201, EMP201, COID, etc.).
Cashflow management and bank processing (FNB).
Conducting costing, control, and stock control activities.
Supporting HR and Industrial Relations processes.
Preparing BEE, social, and ethical certification documentation.
Using advanced Excel skills (pivot table analysis, complex formulas).
Providing day-to-day IT problem-solving support.
Performing ad hoc financial and administrative duties as required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in financial administration up to balance sheet level.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
Experience in HR support and industrial relations advantageous.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
