A well established company requires a mobile Physiotherapist in the mining sector
DUTIES:
- Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for musculoskeletal, occupational, and other related conditions
- Travel between sites (approx. 1500 km per week) ensuring timely arrival and full clinical days
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate clearly with the broader health team
- Participate in wellness campaigns, injury prevention initiatives, and functional rehabilitation
- Collaborate closely with on-site doctors, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
- Adapt physiotherapy approaches to different clinical settings and patient demographics within each site
- Educate patients and workers on movement, ergonomics, and injury prevention relevant to the mining industry
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and health-promoting environment at each site

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and Malpractice Insurance
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle
- Willingness to travel extensively across designated mining sites weekly
- Minimum 2 years’ experience (MSK/Occupational Health experience preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in diverse environments and adaptable to site-specific needs
- Passionate about improving health outcomes in the mining community
- Previous experience in remote or mobile physiotherapy services
- Understanding of occupational health protocols and return-to-work processes
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and development
- Resilience and flexibility to navigate the demands of site-based healthcare
