Job Description
Reconciling the payroll with the general ledger and cash book
Preparing and submitting accurate financial and HR reports on time to the team and to the Group
Creating and maintaining customized reports on Sage 300 People
Managing and submitting EMP501 returns, demonstrating knowledge of South Africa's regulatory requirements for payroll tax compliance.
Ensuring updates and containing good payroll control measures are in place
Posting cashbook cheques through to General ledger
Will be responsible for monthly EMP 201 reconciliations including submissions and payments
Preparing payment batches and processing cashbooks for salaries bank account
Performing adjustments and reconciliations for all third-party payments using monthly schedules
Ensure the payroll system parameters and informed changes are applied accurately and timeously
Reviewing of month end payroll journals.
Qualification & Skills
Must have a payroll or relevant qualification
Must have Sage 300 People experience ( Non - Negotiable)
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
Must have staff management experience
