Role Summary
Were looking for a hands-on Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of a multi-entity group. The role involves strategic financial reporting, compliance, team support, and direct collaboration with directors.
Location: Atlantis, Cape Town
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Manage full accounting across three entities Deliver monthly management reports and variance analysis Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking Perform reconciliations and month-end procedures
Compliance & Audit
Handle VAT returns and payroll for 60+ employees Liaise with auditors and ensure SARS compliance
Payments & Controls
Prepare supplier payments (finalized by directors) Enforce financial controls and review supplier reconciliations Work with sales admin to ensure invoice accuracy
Team & Systems
Supervise one finance assistant and support the admin teams Maintain systems (Pastel or similar) Provide insights and reports to directors for planning
Candidate Requirements
5+ years in financial management or senior accounting Experience with multi-entity operations Strong knowledge of payroll, VAT, compliance Proficient in Pastel and Excel Stable, mature leadership style
Qualifications
BCom Accounting or equivalent (required) Valid drivers license and own transport
