Based: Meadowdale
Salary: R20 000,00 basic + (based on experience) + other benefits
Are you a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in the motor industry ? We're looking for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment and knows how to drive performance, motivate teams, and deliver top-tier customer experiences.
Minimum Requirements:
· Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
· Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, or Marketing (advantageous)
· Minimum 5+ years' experience in the motor industry, with at least 2–3 years in a management role
· Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
· Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management
· In-depth knowledge of vehicle financing, insurance , and F&I processes
· Valid driver’s licence and a clear criminal record
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capability
· Customer-centric , sales-driven mindset
· Proficient in data analysis and converting insights into effective sales strategies
· High level of professionalism, integrity , and resilience
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
· Lead, manage, and motivate the new and/or pre-owned vehicle sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
· Develop and execute effective sales strategies to grow market share and drive revenue.
· Monitor individual and team performance metrics, conducting regular reviews and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
· Oversee vehicle stock levels and product mix to ensure optimal inventory and availability.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by overseeing a smooth, professional, and client-focused sales process.
· Maintain strong working relationships with OEMs, financial institutions, insurance providers, and other key stakeholders.
· Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to sales staff, ensuring skills development and compliance with internal and external standards.
· Ensure strict adherence to dealership policies, regulatory requirements, and industry compliance.
· Prepare, analyse, and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
