Key Responsibilities:
Conduct actuarial analyses with minimal supervision, and support more complex work under the guidance of experienced actuaries. Assist in the pricing of new and renewal business, supporting the development of rating structures and profitability reviews. Provide technical support to underwriters on pricing decisions and contribute to strategic initiatives. Perform reserve and expense analysis to ensure pricing adequacy and alignment with business goals. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Underwriting, Claims, and Finance to support business objectives. Progress steadily towards actuarial qualification while demonstrating increasing technical proficiency and industry knowledge.Required Qualifications & Experience:
University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of actuarial experience, preferably across multiple functions. Currently pursuing actuarial qualification through a recognised local or international body. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage tasks independently. Professional attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Technical Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Python, R, SAS, or similar. Strong knowledge of actuarial principles, insurance practices, and financial reporting. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.Why Apply?
