DUTIES:

  • Receive and register insurance claims from policyholders
  • Review policy terms to confirm coverage and eligibility
  • Collect supporting documentation such as photos, receipts, and valuations
  • Liaise with clients, brokers, underwriters, and external experts (e.g. assessors, mechanics)
  • Investigate claims to detect potential fraud or discrepancies
  • Advise claimants on the process, timelines, and required information
  • Arrange repairs or replacements using approved service providers
  • Monitor claim progress and ensure timely resolution
  • Calculate and authorize payments for valid claims
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with FAIS and POPIA
  • Escalate complex or high-value claims to senior claims managers
