Responsibilities:
- Hire staff and drivers
- Train new staff and drivers
- Track attendance and leave
- Handle complaints and discipline
- Ensure health and safety
- Support employees with concerns
- Enforce company rules and policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Human Resource Management (BHRM), Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management (BCom HRM), or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
- Professional Registration: SABPP (South African Board for People Practices)
- Communication skills – clear, respectful, and effective communication with staff and management.
- People management – ability to manage, support, and motivate employees (including drivers).
- Conflict resolution – handling disputes and disciplinary issues calmly and fairly.
- Organizational skills – keeping accurate records and managing multiple tasks.
- Recruitment and selection – finding and hiring the right people for the job.
- Problem-solving – quickly resolving workplace challenges and staff concerns.
- Attention to detail – for maintaining correct employee and compliance records.
- Knowledge of labour laws – understanding South African employment regulations and driver-specific requirements.
- Time management – prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Computer literacy – using HR software, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
