Description:
Minimum requirements:- 5+ years experience within the hospitality industry
- Experience with weddings and functions is a must
- Good understanding of GAAP Point of Sale system
- Knowledge of GOP reporting and budgeting would be beneficial
- Flexible to work additional hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by events
- Well-groomed and professional appearance
- Own transport preferred
Duties will include, but is not limited to:
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet and event operations, including weddings, private functions, and corporate events
- Manage setup, execution, and breakdown of events to ensure smooth flow and high-quality service
- Liaise with events coordinator to ensure operations run smoothly
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure service excellence
- Monitor bar sales and manage stock where required
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in all event areas
- Report on event success, guest feedback, and areas for improvement
- Assist in budget tracking and monitoring GOP (Gross Operating Profit)
