Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee the execution of gas, water, and electrical pipeline projects on-site Coordinate with the work planner to ensure that crews are properly briefed and materials arrive as scheduled Assign tasks to teams, monitor progress against deadlines, and address any technical or logistical issues that arise Liaise with clients (primarily network operators), subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Verify that drawings match site conditions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure smooth project delivery Manage health and safety compliance, quality control, and team well-being on-site Take responsibility for the project from initial site visits to handover, maintaining clear documentation and reporting throughout Propose practical improvements during planning or implementation to improve efficiency and delivery Experience & Qualifications
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Civil Engineering, Construction Supervision, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum 3â??5 years of experience in managing site-based infrastructure projects (e.g. utility installations, cable laying, pipeline construction) Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and project timelines effectively Sound understanding of underground utilities and interpreting technical drawings Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills Client-focused and results-driven mindset Valid Code B driverâ??s licence Whatâ??s on Offer
