Description:
A leading company in the Wealth Management sector is seeking an experienced Junior Assistant to join their team in Somerset West . This permanent, full-time, in-office position offers an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute administrative professional to provide excellent client services and client-centric administrative support to a financial planning team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience, preferably 3-5 years, in investment administration instructions and follow-ups. Responsibilities:
- Collating, preparing, and capturing documentation related to investment instructions, payments, and client accounting on internal systems.
- Managing both electronic and hard copy filing for investment administration and advisory record-keeping, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Directly liaising with clients to resolve queries, build relationships, and understand their service needs.
- Maintaining the Client Management System.
- Collating monthly and quarterly reports for clients.
- Providing general secretarial support, including typing and filing client correspondence.
- Preparing, collating, and distributing quarter-end statements.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Administrative Diploma
- 3-5 years experience, specifically as a brokers' assistant or secretarial experience dealing with investment administration and follow-ups
- Knowledge of Allan Gray, Glacier and Ninety One systems advantageous
- High level of financial industry knowledge
- Understanding of investment products (UTs, TFSA, offshore wrappers, mutual funds, ETFs)
