Description:
As the Internal Sales Support Consultant, you will provide an internal support role to clients and external sales consultants, focussing on high level customer services, strong sales and administrative support.
This market leader that specialises in high quality hygiene & cleaning products/services within the Food & Hospitality Industry is growing their team and looking for a team player that will contribute to the overall growth and business development strategies of this specialised business unit.
Minimum requirements:
· Matric /Grade 12 and a relevant diploma advantageous
· 3 years’ experience in an internal sales support position (previous experience in Cleaning & Hygiene Industry advantageous)
· MS Office Suite Application Intermediate to Advanced
· Previous working experience on Pastel and CRM system
· Must have a strong understanding of the sales process and have experience with telephony/email sales and customer services processes
· Be able to work well in a team with and provide support to External Sales Consultants
· Working Hours : 07:30 – 16:30 (Mon – Thu) and 07:30 – 15:00 (Fri)
· Own Transport & Valid Driver’s License (pre-requisite)
Responsibilities and Duties
· Daily processing of customer quotations and sales orders
· Daily follow up of quotations and back orders
· Daily communication with customers regarding any delays in delivery
· Daily administrative tasks that will include cash ups, reporting and filing
· Build and maintain strong internal relationships with customers
· Motivate and support external sales representative allocated to you
· Conduct weekly meetings with external sales representatives
· Schedule meetings for external sales representative’s calendars as required
· Sales to current and new customers
· Prepare weekly sales reports and present to National Sales Manager
· Report directly to National Sales Manager
· Must be willing to travel as required
