Yard Supervisor (Non-EE) PTA-East

Introduction:

An established and reputable national transport company seeks to employ a full-time Yard Supervisor. The successful candidate should ideally reside in Pretoria East.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspect all vehicles that enter the premises.
• Ensure accurate fleet management and administration are facilitated.
• Supervise employees working on the yard and storage facilities.
• Engage in stocktake and reporting activities.
• Ensure that the necessary stock and equipment are loaded onto the trucks as per job cards.
• Provide a security function and continuously monitor CCTV cameras.
• Ad hoc responsibilities, as and when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• Valid driver’s license (Code 10 beneficial).
• Own reliable transport.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans & English.
• Willing to work night shift on rotation.
• Must have sober habits.
• NO JOB HOPPERS will be considered.

Remuneration:

• R13 000 - R16 000 CTC per month
