Description:
Key Responsibilities:Manage a full scope portfolio of clients' taxes, including all administrative tasks, paperwork, and coordination - from start to finish. This means you'll be handling everything from the "nuts and bolts" to high-level tax advice and sars liaison.
Prepare and submit provisional tax returns and annual tax returns for companies, trust, and individuals
Liaise with sars to resolve disputes, attend to queries, and ensure compliance
Provide expert tax advice to clients, or work with Manager where required
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation
Collaborate with the Audit Department as needed
Handle dividend submissions, registrations, and deregistration’s, assist with estate tax matters and other specialized tax areas, such as customs
We're looking for a candidate who is committed to this role for the long term and can provide a minimum notice period of 4-6 weeks.
Flexibility to attend to other matters assigned by the Manager as required
Ability to handle administrative tasks and coordinate paperwork
Requirements:
Requirements:Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
Greatsoft experience or working on other Tax Management programs will be advantages but not essential.
Proficiency in sars eFiling and Microsoft Word and Excel
At least 2 years of experience in taxation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in an open-plan office environment
Team player with a positive attitude
Willingness to learn and share knowledge with others
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax-related position
