Prepare and review SENS announcements in compliance with JSE regulations. Draft and present technical accounting papers for internal and external stakeholders. Lead the group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of consolidated financial statements. Oversee group tax planning, compliance, and submissions, including deferred tax and tax provisioning. Collaborate with auditors, senior executives, and cross-functional teams on reporting and compliance matters. Contribute to the financial strategy and assist in driving informed, data-backed decisions.
Experience and Skills Required:
CA(SA) qualification (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years post-articles experience, ideally in property, real estate, or a listed group. Proven experience in: SENS reporting and interpretation of JSE Listing Requirements. Drafting high-quality technical accounting papers (IFRS-compliant). Group consolidations across multiple entities. Group tax management and compliance. Strong working knowledge of IFRS, Companies Act, and South African tax legislation. Exceptional analytical, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
