Minimum requirements for the role:
A matric is essential for this role. Previous experience having worked within an internal sales, sales coordination, or a showroom-based role or related is essential for the role. Previous experience having worked within surfacing materials or interiors or building products is an advantage. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sage Systems. Service-oriented team player with a positive, can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing internal sales support to clients and the commercial sales team by managing all incoming enquiries, preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining strong client relationships - with a specific focus on servicing smaller accounts. Assisting in maintaining showroom readiness and ensuring that all activities are aligned with agreed performance targets. Handling all incoming phone calls, emails, and showroom walk-in enquiries. Providing accurate product information and maintain a professional, helpful approach at all times. Directing any complex or technical queries to the relevant team member. Preparing accurate, detailed quotes and ensure timely follow-ups to maximise conversions as well as converting quotes into orders and issue correct invoices. Processing all confirmed orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Coordinating with logistics to track courier collections, sample deliveries, and back orders. Keeping clients informed of their order status and communicate any delays proactively. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
