The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), National Diploma, or equivalent qualification with a strong focus on consumerism, business, and retail. A solid background in B2B sales, along with proven experience in data extraction, analysis, and evaluation, will be highly advantageous. A deep understanding of consumer behavior and packaging within the plastics industry, combined with strong business acumen and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), is essential for success in this role. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), National Diploma, or a similar analytical and commercial qualification, with a focus on consumerism, business, and retail understanding
- Work experience (preferably in the plastic packaging industry)
- Experience or exposure to sales within a B2B environment
- Strong data skills, including data extraction, analysis, and evaluation (experience advantageous)

DUTIES:
Develop Customer Relationships and Knowledge:
- Identify and engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs.
- Implement relationship-building techniques to ensure customer and contractor retention.
- Promote and market the company value proposition effectively.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
- Provide customers with detailed knowledge of the company’s products and solutions.
- Anticipate customer challenges and opportunities and implement proactive solutions.
- Handle customer complaints and queries in line with company policy
- Facilitate smooth progress and flow of customer projects.
Administration and Reporting:
- Complete all required administrative tasks and reports, including but not limited to:
- Daily logging of client meetings
- Weekly log sheets
- Submission and follow-up of quotes
- Weekly estimates
- CCR (Customer Complaint Report) logging and follow-up
- Review of back-orders and customer stock control
- Annual budgeting
- Pre-production and rough order submissions
- Ad hoc reporting as requested by management
Self-Management:
- Effectively plan personal time on a daily and weekly basis.
- Set personal performance goals and create an actionable plan to achieve them.
Self-Development and Growth:
- Conduct realistic assessments of personal strengths and areas for development and take action to address any gaps.
