Job Title: Head of Marketing
Location: Maxmead, Kwa-Zulu Natal
A leading manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing with strong experience in strategic planning, digital marketing, content management, and team leadership to join their team in Maxmead, Kwa-Zulu Natal . Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead the creation, approval, and distribution of content across multiple channels (website, social media, internal communication, sales collateral, etc.).
- Plan, manage, and oversee the content calendar and campaign rollout.
- Direct the coordination, planning, and execution of expos, trade shows, and customer-facing events.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide high-impact marketing collateral, presentations, and tools to support lead generation and sales closure.
- Manage and optimise customer databases, lead pipelines, and CRM integration.
- Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media strategies, website performance, and email campaigns.
- Analyse marketing performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to deliver effective marketing outcomes.
- Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice, and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Manage the department's budget, forecasting, and vendor relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (essential).
- 5-8 years in a middle-senior level marketing role, with proven experience in strategic planning, digital marketing, content management, and team leadership.
- Exceptional content strategy and copywriting skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and SEO/SEM.
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
- Advanced project and event management.
- Leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and budgeting skills.
- Graphic design acumen (using Canva/Adobe Suite) and an eye for brand quality.
- Strategic thinker, results-driven, creative and innovative.
- Excellent communicator, proactive leader, collaborative and adaptable.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
