The Role: Repair & Maintenance Manager
This role is responsible for ensuring that all facilities and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standard. Based at a luxury property in Camps Bay, the Repair & Maintenance Manager leads a multi-disciplinary maintenance team, overseeing daily operations, preventative work, and emergency repairs to ensure safety, functionality, and a flawless guest environment.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all maintenance operations on-site

Lead a team of maintenance technicians and ensure efficient task delegation

Coordinate with departments to respond promptly to maintenance issues

Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules

Manage contractor and supplier relationships

Monitor and report on maintenance budgets and expenses

Ensure compliance with OHAS standards and building regulations

Interpret and work from architectural layouts and technical drawings
About You

3 - 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role

Previous supervisory or project management experience is essential

Technical background with broad maintenance skills

Experience in hospitality or commercial property management is advantageous

Proficient with MS Office and strong administrative capabilities

Knowledge of OHAS regulations and building codes

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
