The Role
As a Junior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting the commercial team with cost management and project delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to develop professionally and gain hands-on experience across all aspects of quantity surveying.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation

Support with cost planning and cost control throughout project lifecycles

Conduct site measurements and assist with valuations
-
Help manage subcontractor payments and track variations
-
Maintain accurate records of contracts and project progress

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
-
Support senior quantity surveyors with reporting and procurement tasks
Requirements
-
A degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
-
Some experience or internship in a QS or construction role (preferred but not essential)

Strong numerical and analytical skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

Good communication and teamwork abilities
-
Willingness to learn and take initiative
