ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Occupational Therapist, you will focus on hands-on clinical care—assessing each patient’s functional needs, designing evidence-based treatment plans, and guiding them toward greater independence in everyday activities. You will contribute your expertise to an interdisciplinary team committed to person-centred rehabilitation and measurable, high-quality outcomes.
EQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy with community-service year completed
- Registered with the HPCSA as an independent practitioner and covered by malpractice insurance
- CPD portfolio up to date in line with HPCSA standards
- Bobath / Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) training an advantage
- Basic or intermediate wheelchair assessment/prescription skills beneficial
- Keen interest in both paediatric and adult neurological rehabilitation
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in neurology, cognitive therapy, and spinal-cord injury care
- Broad clinical exposure, including orthopaedics, SCI, and neurology
- Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within an interdisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable own transport
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge of the ICF Framework
- Good written and spoken English language skills (Afrikaans and Xhosa will be advantageous)
- Effective interdisciplinary team member

Minimum salary: R28 569,34 Cost to Company (including benefits)
