Description:
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction & Sales Execution
Facilitate and manage all walk-in customer transactions.
Ensure accurate order processing, invoicing, and card payments.
Ensure all picking slips are printed and allocated to warehouse team member.
Pre-alert customers on deliveries/collections – confirm contact details and stock readiness.
Order Fulfilment & Dispatch
Oversee collections and deliveries according to SOP.
Ensure timely dispatch and no outstanding picking slips.
Fleet Management
Update and manage driver route schedules; ensure fair allocation of routes.
Monitor vehicle movement against trip sheets and C-Track reports.
Ensure timely servicing of vehicles and manage driver overtime.
Manage incidents, accidents, and report running costs (e.g., GP vs. R/KM)
Customer Service
Handle queries.
Ensure follow-up communication post-delivery.
Maintain a friendly, responsive, and solution-focused customer approach.
Record Management & Reporting
Conduct and sign off daily COB reports (Counter Sales).
Ensure reconciliations, invoice control, and accurate documentation of deliveries.
File all relevant delivery and fleet documentation (PODs, inspection sheets, etc.)
People Leadership & Team Development
Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with team members.
Promote a respectful and engaging team culture (CARE, MEANS, ABILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY model).
Review training needs and promote cross-functional
Communication & Collaboration
Communicate any stock/order discrepancies to management.
Liaise with customers on any delays or issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order flow.
Requirements:
Minimum RequirementsGrade 12
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an operational/supervisory role
Valid driver’s license
