High profile Financial Services company seeks a skilled CA(SA) with 5 - 6 years post qualifying working experience from within Financial Services / Investment / Corporate Finance / Merchant BankingReporting to the executive, we are seeking a dynamic CA(SA) to fulfill the following important duties:
- Produce and distribute monthly management reports to agreed timeframes.
- Prepare consolidated quarterly management accounts .
- Produce detailed quarterly cash flow forecasts.
- Produce required financial reports and monthly management accounts for internal and external distribution.
- Produce annual financial reports and statements to agreed timeframes to comply with relevant legislation and legal frameworks.
- Group consolidation for the year-end purposes.
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the group.
- Oversee, supervise, and direct the work performed by several Financial Accountants.
- Review contracts and write technical papers in terms of the treatment of various investments.
- All relevant reconciliations are produced and accurate
- Establish and ensure implementation and adherence to finance policies, procedures, and systems.
- Ensure that payments are made.
- Ensure that payroll reconciles on an annual basis.
- Compliance and statutory work.
- Income tax computations
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements relating to financial control, financial management, and accounting.
- Ensure appropriate external audit arrangements are in place and manage the audit process.
- Stay up to date with technical developments relevant to the role (changes in IFRS, Tax and legislation, and other regulatory changes).
- Maintaining consolidation and monitoring back-ups and testing of back-ups.
