JOB OVERVIEW:
A dynamic and fast-growing FMCG company is seeking a Field Merchandiser based in Johannesburg to manage product visibility, stock replenishment, and merchandising standards across designated retail outlets. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of our products in-store, maintaining display standards, and building strong relationships with store staff.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visit assigned retail outlets according to the call cycle and route plan.
Replenish stock and ensure proper rotation of products on shelves and displays.
Deliver stock directly to stores as needed.
Set up and maintain product displays, promotional materials, and brand visibility.
Monitor and report on out-of-stocks, competitor activity, and general store performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff and managers.
Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding market trends and customer feedback.
Ensure all merchandising activities are compliant with company standards and branding guidelines.
Complete and submit daily activity reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric certificate (Grade 12) essential.
Previous experience in merchandising or sales, preferably in FMCG or tobacco/e-cigarette industry.
Good knowledge of retail environments and merchandising principles.
