Description:
Our client in Paarl is in need of a junior Administrative Assistant who will support the logistics team by tracking shipments, handling transport documentation, communicating with clients, and performing general admin duties. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and follow up on shipments (delivery times, status updates)Communicate with transport providers, drivers, and clients
Maintain transport documents (waybills, delivery notes, invoices)
Capture data into logistics and admin systems
Compile daily and weekly shipment reports
General office admin and filing
Requirements:
Matric (National Senior Certificate)
Experience in logistics or freight tracking (advantageous)
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and email
Strong organisational and communication skills
Able to multitask and perform under pressure
Detail-oriented and accurate
