Our client, based in Claremont, Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong creditors/accounts payable knowledge. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks advantageous) and intermediate Excel skills are essential. A Matric certificate is required, and an industry-relevant qualification will be a strong advantage. Attention to detail and accuracy is key to success in this role. REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric (Grade 12) is required
- Industry-relevant qualifications are advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Creditors Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong creditors/accounts payable experience

- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

DUTIES:
- Accurately process and manage accounts payable transactions
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain creditor accounts
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Support year-end audit preparations and processes
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and resolve any discrepancies
- Perform related administrative duties as required
- Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00
