Description of key performance areas:

The development of conceptual designs.
Doing costing and proposal developments and developing Gantt charts/project timelines.
Obtaining quotes and submitting Capex requirements.
Contractor Management and project progress reporting.
Day-to-day contractor oversight.
Pre commissioning and commissioning of the plant.
Financial reports on project cost. Supporting the Project Manager on projects across sites
To ensure that all relevant engineering standards and best practices are incorporated into all installations.
To actively seek to improve processing techniques in conjunction with the Plant teams to achieve reduction in cycle times and utility consumption.
Champion Energy management programs and tracking.
Investigate process deviations and find solutions
Assist with implementing the company Process Safety program across all sites.
Champion the MOC process and chair HAZOPs / Risk Assessments
To ensure that the housekeeping standards are maintained at all times, actively working at reducing waste generation and seeking ways to recycle material.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Relevant degree/diploma in Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

2 years’ experience in a chemical process environment.
