To supervise, vet, and optimize daily operations of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) with a strong focus on chemical usage, material balancing, and process monitoring, ensuring environmental compliance, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
🧪 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ETP, ensuring all processes are compliant and optimized.
- Monitor and update daily material balances for the plant.
- Track, log, and manage daily chemical consumption.
- Verify all chemical deliveries, ensuring inventory is accurate and reconciled against orders.
- Check vendor invoices against actual chemical usage and delivery records.
- Identify and report any operational deviations or discrepancies.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates on:
- Chemical usage
- Inventory status
- Vendor performance
- Work closely with technical teams to align process parameters with chemical treatment needs.
- Assist with internal or external audits as needed.

📜 Qualifications & Experience:
- SAMTRAC Certification (Safety Management Training Course – Advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably within an industrial or ETP environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ETP operations, chemical handling, and environmental regulations.
