Purpose of the Job:The development, implementation and management of site-specific residential estate security strategies aimed at developing and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Physical Security Management
Management and supervision of subordinates. Manage security related contracts and services. Manage onsite security systems. Development and management of crime prevention and combating plan. Conducting investigations. Training of security staff as required. Advising on new developments in the security domain. Advising on security risk management. Managing responses to emergency situations. Security Planning and Administration
Development and implementation of site-specific security strategies, tactics and policies. Development and implementation of a site-specific intelligence gathering and analysis capability. Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters, security breaches, and cyber incidents. Conduct drills and training exercises to prepare estate personnel for emergency situations. Profiling of potential risk units within the estate. Working with Information Officer to ensure POPIA compliance. Development and management of Security related documentation. Managing all facets of daily security operations. Assisting with fine management committee and contraventions. Provide feedback reports. Report writing. Stakeholder Relation and Engagement
Manage and evaluate the performance of all Security Service Providers Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensure that the performance is according to applicable standard operating procedures. Monitors and controls service providers to ensure service delivery in accordance with SLAs and takes appropriate action to address non-delivery as urgently as possible. Manage relationships with other structures within the Estates that focuses on matters of Security e.g., Community Policing Forum (CPF). Provides regular update and feedback to stakeholders and shareholders regarding security related matters, incidences, rules and applicable compliance procedures. Through Stakeholder engagements and participation, create an overall risk assessment need, evaluate security related risk and recommend measures for improvement such as surveillance cameras, and access control systems. Oversee the installation and maintenance of security equipment. Investigate and report security incidents and breaches. Financial Management
Work in collaboration with the Finance Management, prepares annual security budget and submits the proposed budget for consideration of approval by the Estate Manager and
